Product Overview

The simple slitting line is an economical and practical solution for cutting steel coils into narrow strips with high precision and efficiency. Designed to meet the needs of customers with limited workshop space, rental conditions, or strict productivity requirements, this line combines compact structure, reliable operation, and high production speed (up to 30 m/min).
m/min).

Unlike conventional slitting lines that require foundation pits, this equipment is specially engineered to operate without floor excavation, making it ideal for installation in leased workshops. The elevated recoiler, reinforced unloading car, and embedded guide posts ensure stable and safe coil handling, while the fully automated synchronization of uncoiling, slitting, and recoiling minimizes stretching, deformation, and misalignment.

Working Process

  1. Loading – Steel coils are placed on the uncoiler via a hydraulic loading car.
    2. Trimming – A hydraulic shear trims the coil’s leading edge to remove irregular sections.
    3. Slitting – Material passes through lateral guides and is slit into strips, with edge trim collected by dedicated winders.
    4. Looping & Tensioning – Strips pass through a loop pit and separator before entering the tension stand, ensuring consistent and uniform strip tension.
    5. Recoiling – Strips are wound under stable tension, preventing loose or collapsed coils.
    6. Offloading – Finished coils are discharged by a hydraulic offloading car for transport.

  3. The entire process is automatically synchronized, with a PLC-based control system regulating speed, length cutting, and scrap handling. Except for the initial manual threading, all operations are fully automated.
